VivaTech 2026 Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Paris with Record 200,000 Visitors, Macron and Modi Attend

Paris, June 20, 2026 VivaTech, Europe’s largest event dedicated to innovation, tech, and startups, celebrated its historic 10th anniversary with a record-breaking edition, surpassing 200,000 visitors from 165 nationalities and 60 country pavilions at Paris Porte de Versailles.
From June 17 to 20, 2026, the event consolidated its status as the world’s must-attend tech gathering. According to the official press release, the edition hosted more than 15,000 startups, over 4,500 exhibitors, 61% of whom were international, 1,155 speakers, and generated over 5 billion cumulative impressions on social media.
The milestone edition was held in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India participated as the AI Country Partner 2026, while Germany was honored as the Country of the Year 2026.

World Tech Leaders Gather in Paris
This year’s edition featured an exceptional lineup of global tech leaders including Jeff Bezos, Founder of Amazon & Blue Origin, Dave Limp, CEO of Blue Origin, Bernard Arnault, Chairman & CEO of LVMH, Yann LeCun, Executive Chairman of AMI Labs, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, and Joe Tsai, Co-founder & Chairman of Alibaba.
Breakthrough Innovations Unveiled
VivaTech 2026 showcased hundreds of world-premiere innovations. Among the most talked-about:
XPANCEO: Unveiled its smart contact lens aiming to replace screens
Unitree x HABS: Demonstrated a humanoid robot controlled by human brain activity
Lattice Medical: Presented 3D-printed resorbable implants for soft tissue reconstruction
Lifepods: Showcased its autonomous protection capsule for extreme risk situations
New business-focused formats such as Business Plaza and Investors Office Hours were introduced to accelerate connections between startups and investors.
VivaTech x Bloomberg Awards Launched
For the first time, the VivaTech x Bloomberg Awards honored the world’s top tech leaders. Winners included Sir Tim Berners-Lee (Visionary Award), Joe Tsai (Leadership Award), and Yann LeCun (Momentum Award).
Paris Becomes World Capital of Innovation
To celebrate a decade of innovation, VivaTech also took over the iconic Champs-Élysées on June 14, transforming it into a massive open-air technology showcase for the general public.
The organizers have announced that the 11th edition of VivaTech will be held from June 16-19, 2027, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
