115 infected with coronavirus in one day in Sylhet division

In four districts of Sylhet division 115 people have been infected with coronavirus in just one day. With this total 225 COVID-19 patients have been traced in four districts of the division.
The responsible persons confirmed the information on Friday night. They said, 667 samples were sent to National Institute of Laboratory and Referral Center for testing. Of those 78 were traced with coronavirus infection. Besides, nearly 400 samples from Moulvibazar, Sunamganj and Habiganj were sent to Dhaka. Of those 21 were traced with coronavirus. In the lab of Dhaka total 99 samples were traced with coronavirus from Sylhet division.
Meanwhile, 267 samples were tested in specialized laboratory set up at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College. Of those 16 people were detected with coronavirus.
Health directorate, Sylhet office Assistant Director Anisur Rahman said, the samples were sent after giving lab ID. So, which patients are corona positive that could not be traced. Verbally it was informed that 99 people were infected with coronavirus. The real number can be informed on Saturday
