The Queen will mark her 95th birthday on Wednesday 21 April, four days after the funeral of her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh.
The Queen was born on 21 April 1926 at 17 Bruton Street in London, the first child of The Duke and Duchess of York.
The Queen’s official birthday is in June which is marked by the Trooping the Colour parade. It’s a tradition that goes back to 1748 and is all about trying to make sure the weather is better for outdoor celebrations.
